Who Doesn’t Love Pizza!
This year, our school council is excited to host a Little Ceasar’s Pizza Kit Fundraiser. For every order, $6 goes directly towards our $2500 fundraising goal, supporting the Performing Arts Programs at our school - like drama, music, arts, residencies, and social clubs.

Valley Creek School Council Gift Card Fundraiser
Thanks to everyone who supported this year's Fundscript Fundraiser. This year, we raised a total of $1,899.21. Generous donations also helped to provide $130 towards our teacher appreciation coffee cart for our hardworking staff members.
With our FundScrip fundraiser, you can purchase gift cards from a wide range of retailers, including those for everyday essentials like gas and groceries, as well as perfect options for holiday gifts. You receive the full value of the gift card, and a portion of your purchase is donated to our school’s fundraising efforts. The money raised goes toward student resources, classroom materials, fun activities, staff appreciation, and more!

Valley Creek School Casino Fundraising
The Valley Creek School Cooperating Society (Parent Council) has received our next Casino dates and we need at least 40 volunteers (day and night shifts) to fulfill our volunteer obligations. This is where you can make a difference!
The revenue generated by this casino enables our Parent Council to enhance the student learning experience at Valley Creek School. The last two casinos each brought just over $67,000 to our school. The funds we raise from this casino will help to purchase technology for the school that we are in badly need of - new laptops and workstations. This past year we were able to invest in various physical education equipment, including our brand new ping pong tables! We hope to provide more of this support over the next couple of years.
Without enough volunteers for these dates, we will be unable to hold the Casino and we could lose our spot in the Alberta Gaming rotation. This means that no future fundraising will bring in this large amount of money into the school in such a short period of time.
NOTE: Casino experience is not required! Casino advisers are there to assist us each shift.
The following positions will need to be filled over November 25th and 26th: General Manager, Banker, Cashier, Chip Runner, Count Room Supervisor and Count Room staff. Two back up slots have been added for each shift.
The shifts available are as follows:
- Day Shift 11:00am – 7:30pm
- Night Shift 6:45pm - 3:30am
- Count Room Shift 11:15pm – 3:30am
Please sign up by September 1st, 2023 as all documentation needs to be submitted to AGLC 60 days prior to our casino dates. Be sure of your commitment, as it is very difficult to find replacements.
